Gaelic4parents

Loads here for parents who have children in Gaelic education: from pre-school to primary seven. Plenty of games and resources you can use with your kids as you both learn. There are games, artwork, phrases, sound files, info about Gaelic Medium Education (GME), and message boards to speak to other parents about different things connected to GME.

This website is very helpful for parents without much Gaelic, or who have no Gaelic at all, and for children who are looking for a fun way to learn. The site is bursting with stories, words and songs, all of which you can listen to. There are words, and even full stories available to listen to, which accompany recommended Gaelic children’s books. There are little plays, and so many other fun things on the site. A great start for anyone with kids in Gaelic Medium Education, but who needs some help maybe with reading or another aspect of Gaelic. A great place for people to visit who are thinking about sending their children to GME.
