My gaelic wasn’t important to me until fairly recently. Just under a year ago my son was part of a Gaelic project at school, learning about the language. This got him interested in the language and has also encouraged me to find out more. Just after that I noticed that a new gaelic channel, BBC ALBA, was launched. I have been watching this channel and learning from it, as has my son. Then I was told about the launch of mygaelic.com. This has been a great tool to learn gaelic and also to meet new people who also want to learn the language. I am happy with the progress my son and I have made and I look forward to learning more.
