Blas Festival presents ‘Leading Ladies’
MacKenzie, Anna Massie and Mairearad Green and Fèis an Earriach Cèilidh Trail.
MacKenzie is a vocal group of three sisters – Eilidh, Gillie and Fiona – originally from Gress in the Isle of Lewis. They sing traditional Gaelic songs as well as their own compositions and are know for their tight vocal harmonies.
Anna Massie and Mairearad Green are multi-instrumentalists and a captivating duo. They provide a highly entertaining and energetic performance with a warm and friendly stage presence.
Tonight's concert in Aros is a special event. Rarely will you get the opportunity to see the highly respected Mackenzie sisters perform together. They, like Anna & Mairearad, represent the best in our traditions as well as composing their own excellent compositions. A treat not to miss!
