Information about FilmG, MG ALBA's Gaelic online media shorts competition. This group also exists in Gaelic under the name 'FilmG'

FilmG is looking for actors and writers

Are you an aspiring writer or performer? FilmG is looking for Gaelic speakers willing to act in or write scripts.

You could get the opportunity to work with students from other universities like Napier/RSAMD/Glasgow Caledonian/UWS who already doing media courses, have great technical skills but without Gaelic.

We want to set up a bank of Gaelic talent. You won’t get paid but it is stepping stone to working in Gaelic media, with judges from BBC ALBA and other organisations (Scottish Screen and BAFTA Scotland) seeing your work. Also there are prizes for best performance and best presenter – take a look at www.filmg.co.uk.

We are hoping to hold a training course on front of camera skills this summer. Take the opportunity – send us an email with your name and what you’d be interested in doing to fios@filmg.co.uk.
