I'm an exiled Scot,who's always been interested in Gaelic language and culture.My family originate from Ayrshire/Dumfries and Galloway although I lived in Edinburgh before moving south. I think my interest was sparked by holidaying in Skye and hearing Gaelic spoken 36 years ago.I'm making a return trip to Skye and Mull for the first time since then.That and BBC Alba convinced me this was the year to finally learn the language!
