Is mise Fiona. Tha mi a Canada. Been struggling for years trying to self-learn Gaelic in between the pressures of a busy life. Although born in Scotland I came to Canada as a young girl and am the first generation to not know Gaelic as a first language, or to have grown up on Skye. I've recently joined a local Gaelic Choir here in Victoria, BC so perhaps the language learning will progress a bit further - along with getting to know some other learners on the web. :-)
